TOUR DETAILS

Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica

Upon arrival to Liberia, Costa Rica staff will assist the group with finishing all formalities and transfer the group to the hotel.

Day 2: Day at Leisure (B, D)

Your day at leisure  to take advantage of a day of exhilaration or a relaxing soak in the hot springs.   Walk the suspension bridges in the forest canopy, zipline the Arenal Paraiso, ATV at the base of the Arenal volcano, enjoy a cooking class preparing a typical Costa Rican lunch or experience a night tour of one of the world’s most biodiverse places (listed excursions are at the passenger's expense).  The group will enjoy a Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Hike at LaFortuna (B, L)

After breakfast, explore the wonders of the Arenal area in an immersive trip into nature. The breathtaking 150-ft La Fortuna waterfall is hidden at the bottom of a canyon tucked away within the jungle, so prepare to descend down a lush path while admiring the natural beauty that surrounds it.  This is a great opportunity for you to admire the local vegetation and even spot animals like sloths, toucans, and more. Take in the breathtaking view of the waterfall from this vantage point before getting to the river at the bottom.  Once here, take a dip into the natural pools to refresh yourself under the shade of the trees. Relax, play around for a while, or snap photos of the surroundings.

Day 4: Day at Leisure (B)

Day 5: Depart hotel for Tamarindo Beach (B)

After breakfast, Enjoy a private ground transfer to explore the scenery of Costa Rica in a private air conditioned unit on the way to Tamarindo Beach.

Day 6: Day at leisure (B)

A day at leisure.  Tamarindo Diria is a large beach front resort in the heart of Tamarindo town, one of the most popular beach destinations in Costa Rica famous for its surfing and tropical dry forest setting. The sunsets over the Pacific ocean are stunning.

Day 7: Day at leisure (B,D)

A day at leisure.  The group will enjoy a Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

Day 8: Depart hotel for Tamarindo Beach (B)

After breakfast, staff will escort the group to Liberia Airport for the departure to the USA.

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

  • Roundtrip International non-stop flight;

  • Four nights in 4 1/2* star Arenal hotel;

  • Three nights in 4 1/2* star Tamarindo Beach hotel;

  • La Fortuna Waterfall excursion;

  • All pick up and drop off transportation in private vehicle;

  • Meals as mentioned in the itinerary and all taxes related to the tour. 

PACKAGE EXCLUDES:

  • Personal expenses;

  • Transportation of heavy baggage in excess of applicable allowance;

  • .All gratuities for tour guides, bus driver and others who may assist passengers;   

  • Cost of personal travel insurance.

By utilizing the services of suppliers, you agree neither Getaway With Joy (GWJ) nor any subsidiary or affiliate of Getaway With Joy (GWJ) shall be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay incurred upon you or those traveling with you in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services resulting directly from any acts or default of suppliers of from any occurrence or condition beyond control of Getaway With Joy (GWJ) including defects in vehicles or breakdown in equipment. Nor shall Getaway With Joy (GWJ) be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, or delay resulting directly or indirectly form delays, cancellation or changes in flights, itineraries, schedules, steamers or other services, strikes, theft, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes.

All tour itineraries and fares may be affected by alterations or delays in air or surface transportation services. Getaway With Joy (GWJ) reserves the right to withdraw any tour in this program and to make such alterations in the itineraries as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties or the proper operation of the tour.  Getaway With Joy (GWJ) reserves the right to decline any person as a member of the tour party at any time. Due to the change of airfare, hotel rates, cruise fare and the foreign exchange rate.  Getaway With Joy (GWJ) reserves the right to change the tour fare at its discretion without prior notice.

Payment of deposit represents acceptance by the tour member of the Terms & Conditions listed herein. By utilizing the services of Getaway With Joy (GWJ), you agree that exclusive venue for all claims actions or proceedings against Getaway With Joy (GWJ) of whatsoever nature arising out of this contract shall be the State of California, City of Long Beach, CA and such claim, actions or proceedings shall be determined according to the laws within the jurisdiction of the State of California, City of Long Beach, CA
